You Don’t Build AI Trust With Another Policy
You build it into how the enterprise operates.
You don't build AI trust with another policy.
You build it into how the enterprise operates.
Ask:
Who owns the outcome?
Who decides where AI is allowed to act?
What can AI do without approval?
When must a human intervene?
Who can override the decision?
What evidence is retained?
How do we know the system is behaving as intended?
What happens when something goes wrong?
These are operating model questions.
A policy might define the principles.
Trust comes from whether those principles work in practice.
That means accountability.
Governance.
Observability.
Auditability.
Human judgement.
Escalation.
Recovery.
The real test is simple:
Can the organisation confidently stand behind what its AI does?
If the answer is unclear, another policy won't solve the problem.
The operating model needs attention.
